  • Before you are Looming Objects. Illogically woven and randomly found. Forming a simulacrum of life and death as a random accumulation. Eight vivid hand-loomed nine-inch weavings form the bright side, eight opposing colorless weavings the darkside. Looming Objects includes a dozen Sueñitos (little dreams) — small hanging calaveras (skulls) representing some of the migrant children who died this year crossing the US border.

  • Uncharted territory we are all a part of here in Oregon. We will get through this pandemic that has enveloped over us. The lips showing the Tulip festival. For the little trees represent that half of my face is covered in it. I use hand embroidery to represent the trees and eyelashes to represent flowers that we love here in Oregon. The left is painted with coffee and the right is painted fabric. The colors are sea blue, chartreuse, and jade. That represents the rivers. I dream of this everyday.
