Her hair is a depiction of the Salmon River estuary, with curving bands of grasses, marshland, tidal streams, and forest edge. She looks out over the ocean, and the world.

I found hawk feathers. Was it injured? Another landed outside my window to kill a bird. I found little feathers scattered on the grass. Everything comes together in a world of feathers

A personification of the Salmon River estuary blows wind through the forest from lips colored with ochre, and all are in harmony.
Wapiti (Elk) walk all over the land. I find Wapiti hair caught in the barbed wire fence up high on Cascade Head, and Wapiti teeth and bone in a far away forest. I took the teeth and bone, but I prayed for them.
Prayer: Gratitude for being alive, now you go to the Wapiti spirit world.
